Belgian DJ/producer and writer Jef Martens is making some more noise in the EDM scene. Martens, also best known as Basto and Lazy Jay, has hits “I Rave You” and created an ingenious sound sampling “Float My Boat” with the talented “212” Azealia Banks. “Lazy Jay is my creative outlet.” He and his brother, Toon Martens, that make up the Lazy Jay duo, is an A&R / creative for publishing company MusicAllStars, affiliated to dance label Spinnin’ Records, has taken their sound to the next level. Co-writing and producing the new Will.I.Am and Britney Spears single “Scream and Shout” has all the new buzz not only in the EDM scene but as well as the pop scene.
