The Presets “Promises” Plastic Plates Remix

You probably didn’t know Felix Bloxsom was once the drummer during the early days of the Sydney band, The Presets (unless you read the little blurb beneath his latest track on Soundcloud.) In any case, Bloxom’s experience with beats shines through in his remix of The Preset’s track “Promises.” Now known as Plastic Plates, the Australian DJ and producer brings us a groovy ambient track filled with a fun, bouncing beat and his signature up-tempo feel-good vibe. The vocals from the originals are preserved and, when set to the new disco-funky beat, the whole product makes for one stellar dance tune. If it doesn’t have you bouncing around your living room, we’re sure it’ll get you tapping your feet at the very least.
