One of the most talked about albums of 2014 was the Glitch Mob’s second full length album Love Death Immortality released on Glass Air Records. It was the first release since 2013’s single "Can’t Kill Us" and saw the electronic trio expand their sound with fresh and original material that broadened their diverse production style. Love Death Immortality certainly lived up to expectations, debuting at No. 12 on the Billboard 200, #1 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart, and has sold over 400,000 copies in the states alone. Now, the collection of tunes are getting the remix treatment from some heavyweights in the industry that present us with a variety of genres and unique renditions.

With Love Death Immortality and the new remix album, The Glitch Mob have successfully renewed the hype that has surrounded the group since the release of their breakthrough debut album in 2010. Consisting of band member's edIT, Boreta and Ooah, the trio have shown the ability to lay down quality tracks that blend genres from glitch, electronica, dubstep and industrial, revealing a cohesive and refreshing take on dance music.

The remix compilation album includes 18 tracks featuring a variety of artists who transform the original productions by inputing their own specific style. Starting things off is the bass weight kingpin Bassnectar, who shows off his signature euphoric dubstep sound on his rendition of "Beauty of the Unhidden Heart." Letting the soothing vocals shine on the breakdown that builds up to a resounding crescendo of synth. Getting Bassnectar involved was both brilliant and logical as his distinct style pairs wonderfully with The Glitch Mob sound.

A clear standout remix is one by the rising Austrian producer Filous, who takes on the hard-hitting ballad ‘Our Demons’ and completely deconstructs the track into a sultry and melodic hip-hop oriented tune. A dreamy and atmospheric rendition that is straight up head-bob material for everyday listening. We honestly can’t get enough of this one.

Bringing on the indie-electronica producer Chrome Sparks was another smart move. The Glitch Mob to even further the diversity found on the remix package. His production style is completely original and brings on rhythms that usually dwell in the underground. Somewhat of a footwork and grime remix, Chrome Sparks takes the cake as one of the more unique remixes found on the album.

A few other artists follow the heavy bass style that The Glitch Mob possess in their originals. Dubstep don Emalkay takes "Skullclub" and brings in a rolling synth that fills the track with energy, Mord Fustang’s electro house kicks "Carry The Sun" into high gear, and Strange Talk speeds up "Fly By Night Only" with a bouncy bass synth. Not to mention Hive’s DnB remix of "Our Demons" that rounds out the album. Other high quality artists featured are Nadastrom, Dean Grenier, Starkey and EPROM who put their own flavor on The Glitch Mob originals. With this 18 track album we are shown how electronic music continues to breakdown boundaries with an ever evolving sound. The Glitch Mob’s Love Death Immortality Remixes will be, without a doubt, one of the standout compilation albums of 2015.
