Ever get frustrated trying to remember that track you heard last week? Discovering and keeping tabs of new music is still a work in progress. On top of that, it’s difficult to consolidate a playlist and share/find individuals who have a similar taste in music with you. Enter Serendip, which has just become available to the general public. Serendip allows users to aggregate playlists that are shared by friends on Twitter and Facebook, allowing you to create a playlist in addition to including other users who share similar tastes in music as you. It comes across as a more personalized Pandora, akin to soundspin.fm or This Is My Jam. The service also allows you to follow individuals who have similar tastes as you to see their songs in your stream, and more importantly, hide individuals who don’t exactly have the best taste in music.
