Electronic DJ/producer and all around techno trailblazer, Richie Hawtin, will bring to life his visionary talent for an evening in support of the arts. Slated to perform at the opening party to the 2013 Guggenheim International Gala (GIG), Hawtin (a.k.a. Plastikman) will further cement his international status in front of a crowd full of rich supporters and cultural influencers. Although one Hawtin is enough to get fired up over, the evening (Nov. 6) will also host “Plastikman’s” brother, Matthew, who balances his time as a visual artist and a DJ. All proceeds from the event will help with funding and programming of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and its various museum ventures.
