Rain City Riot “Control” EP

Hailing from techno-haven Berlin, Rain City Riot has just released his two-track EP “Control” and trust us when we say it’s the cleanest grime you’ll hear this week. The first track, “Control” features vocals straight of the 90s that’ll remind you of the era’s blend of high and low sounds with enough slinkiness to have you shaking the whole night through. The follow-up track, “On A Real” continues the bouncy-theme of the EP providing a delectable blend go garage, deep, and house sounds to create a hell of a banger. An ominous build up suddenly leads us to a bouncy melody that’s as frightening as it is infectious. The EP, out on Party Like Us Records, is the result of Rain City Riot wanting to “write something that was moody and grimy without being too noisy. Something rolling but rude."
