It has been said that Orazio Rispo "eats, drinks and breathes house music." I'll wager he also walks, talks, runs, bathes, sleeps, drives, brushes his teeth and travels it as well.

Speaking of travel, we just had a quickie with Orazio Rispo in anticipation of his upcoming performance at Art Basel in Miami (think WMC with more visal art than aural, such as paint and sculpture, and with way fewer glow sticks). This arbiter of house music will be taking to the decks along with Roni Seilkaly on Novemver 30th for, "Local House" at Wall Miami. If you can't make Art Basel this year (you should try though-- get some culture, will you?), at least check out ElektroDaily.com’s quickie with Orazio Rispo below:

Favorite drink? Don Julio Reposado on the rocks.

Scariest groupie moment? Korean pop star actress invaded Lavo NY  DJ booth with her semi-English speaking friend. "Lost in translation" was an understatement.

Craziest place you ever had sex? It was completely alone in my head, well, with the faculty chaperons, when I DJ'ed my high school dances.

If you could have one superhero power, what would it be? To always say the "right thing" at the "right time."

First job you ever had? Hosted my own television show on the Cartoon Network because I called them up one day and told them I was desperately obsessed with cartoons. I was eight and had nothing to lose.

What DJ do you want to:

Hug? Moby.

Party With? Seth Troxler.

DJ alongside live? Loco Dice.
