Pryda “Bergen” & “Recomondos”

If you heard the track's debut on Pete Tong's radio show, you probably recognized it as his former "Cafe Mambo ID." With its slow and steady buildup of tribal drums, the finished version, entitled "Bergen" delivers a solid stream of sensual beats that gradually meld into a captivating sequence of synths in true Eric Prydz fashion. He may be classified as a progressive house artist, but his style is vastly unique to current artists of the same genre; "Bergen" embodies that organic, tech-y, slightly trance-y sound. The buildups are subtle, the beats are hypnotic, and the melodies carry the pulse of the track.
