PRMD Records Makes the Leap into Hip-Hop with iSHi

34-year-old Stockholm-born producer/songwriter Eshraque "iSHi" Mughal has just become the first hip-hop signee to Ash Pournouri's PRMD records.

The label made its name bringing us notable names in EDM, most recognizably, Avicii and Cazzette. Now, iSHi teams up with PRMD to launch his solo career after producing many charting european acts like Tinie Tempah, Emile Sandé, Example and Eric Turner.  His production for Tinie Tempah's "Written In The Stars" (feat. Eric Turner) and Emile Sandé's "Read All About It" took the No. 1 chart position in the U.K., showing evidence of iSHi's shimmering track record.

The world will get their first taste of iSHi's debut single on February 27 when "Push It" will be released on PRMD via Spotify.  The single will feature verses from EDM's favorite hip-hop collaborator, Pusha T, who recently blessed Axwell /\ Ingrosso's "This Time We Can't Go Home" with his focused lyrical stylings.

Booming 808s, dripping-wet haunting melodies and vinyl vocal samples will surely make "Push It" a hip-hop standout in 2015.  iSHi's PRMD partnership will feature an all encompassing artistic collaboration with renowned Stockholm-based photographer Alex Wessely, who made his name shooting the likes of Drake, Big Sean, Kanye West, Rihanna, Raekwon and more.  Wessely will be involved in "Push It," the EP and debut album.  After his conceptual EP, iSHi plans to release his debut album this year as well, which is sure to bring huge collaborations and floor-shaking, spine-chilling beats.  iSHi and the PRMD team have taken the liberty to craft a Spotify playlist that'll wet our appetites in anticipation for "Push It."
