Modern Machines are no strangers to bringing remixes that showcase their impressive production abilities, while supplying the energetic electro/progressive house sound that is fit for the main stages of EDM's biggest festivals. In just the past few months, the NYC-based duo have transformed tracks like Jack U's "Take U There" and Rae Sremmurd‘s "No Type" into club-friendly weapons that saw support from the likes of TiestoHenry Fong and Chuckie. What's more is they teamed up with fellow NYC-based dance music producers Tommie Sunshine and CID for the widely supported 2014 remix of the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s single “Maps.” Kaskade, Tiesto, KrewellaAdventure ClubFatboy SlimSteve AokiFedde Le GrandFerry CorstenW&W and Tommy Trash are just a few of the heavyweights on the remix’s massive list of supporters.

Now, they've been sought out by David Guetta's camp for an official remix of his single "Hey Mama," which they're now sharing for their fans. Modern Machines talk about their approach to the remix saying, "we wanted to bring a more summer upbeat house vibe to the original." The resulting rework of the David Guetta single is certainly one fit for the summer season, complete with powerful, melodic synth progressions and thumping percussion that is sure to put hands in the air.

The up and coming NYC duo have been establishing themselves as a group to watch out for in the dance music world. With a variety of impressive productions under their belts, it is only a matter of time before we see a major breakthrough from Modern Machines. Stay tuned for more to come from them soon. For those in the NYC area, you can catch them as they headline LAVO on April 17.
