Start Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week off right tonight at Stone Rose Lounge for the Style Awards after party. Party to the sounds of 4AM DJ, DJ Theory. At just 20 years old, he has spun at some of New York City's biggest venues: 1Oak, GoldBar, The Rivington Hotel, Greenhouse, Tenjune, Hudson Terrace, and Butter- just to name a few. As one of the most talented young DJs in the country, DJ Theory combines innate ability with finely sharpened craft that is instantly tangible upon walking into a room.

Quickie with a DJ Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Edition:

If you could have one superhero power, what would it be? I'd want to be able to fly; I'd never have to sit in traffic going to a gig ever again.

First job you ever had? At 17 I spent my whole summer working construction.

Favorite candy / snack? Prosciutto.

What do you drive? An Audi S5.

Kind of watch do you wear? My grandfather's Patek Philipe.

Favorite Sneakers? Nike dunk lows and the Puma x Alexander McQueen collaboration.

Favorite fashion brand? Simon Spurr or Givenchy.

If you had one night left to live, how would you spend it? Dinner at Peter Luger's with all my friends, family and loved ones.

Favorite video game? Call of Duty Black Ops.

Can't leave home without? Wallet, keys, cell phone.

First DJ you ever saw live? Z-Trip at Central Park Summerstage in 2005, he was amazing, pre-serato

How would you describe your style? Filled with great energy and lots of scratching'.

What are your thoughts on the dance music culture right now? I think it's great to see DJing get so much attention from the masses. There seems to be a lot of argument over the difference between "button-pushers" who simply just push buttons and "real DJs" who cut or scratch or even just mix two records together. I think as long as what you're doing sounds good, no one should be complaining. With music changing every day due to advances in digital audio software, the only thing I think people should be concerned with is the end product. Friends also ask me, aren't you concerned about everyone 'being a DJ'? That would be like an NBA player worrying about people buying basketballs and trying out for a spot on the Knicks. If someone can walk into guitar center and buy some equipment and do exactly what you do, you should re think your set, and sound.

Favorite track to play? 212 by Azelia Banks.

What can party goers expect from your set for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week? New music from Kid Cudi and Florence + Machines.

What DJ do you want to:

Hug? Rhett Bixler of the Chainsmokers.
Party With? A-Trak. The fools gold block parties his label does are epic.
DJ alongside live? I want to juggle doubles of G. Dep's 'Special Delivery' with Funkmaster Flex.
