When discussing the history of dance music there are certain names and artists that stand out as true innovators in the art of producing and DJing. If we are to understand what made this culture so special in the first place, it is important to take a look back at how this whole scene came to be. Today, Defected Records makes that a little easier for those in need of a little history lesson. The Defected presents House Masters compilation series is one of the most educational releases sharing timeless classics and giving new life to "the good old days" of dance music. Previous curators from the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Derrick Carter, MK, and Henrik Schwarz have helped make this one of the most anticipated releases of the year and it only gets better with their next installment.

Following their first crack at curating this compilation is Masters At Work with Volume 2, digging deep into their collection of releases to deliver a stellar collection of dance ballads that helped to define a generation of the counter culture. With 4 CD's there's plenty of music to dig through for a proper history lesson. Check out the tracklist below and be sure to grab this release on September 11th, 2015 at all major outlets.
