It’s undeniable that DJ Snake has been on top of the remix game in recent weeks. The Chicago-born producer’s take on Kanye’s “New Slave," AlunaGeorge’s “You Know You Like It” and Duck Sauce’s homecoming “It’s You” have been blowing up the stratosphere and with good reason. Though some producers might think to rest on their recent success, Snake’s productive work ethic shows with the release of his latest rework, this time Major Lazer’s summer get-down “Bubble Butt”. As if the original weren’t gritty enough to begin with, DJ Snake takes the track to the depths of unadulterated trap with chopped up vocals and subtle claps that remind you of a certain kind of south-of-the-border gyration.
