Major Lazer have teamed up with Andy Samberg on a new track "Bass Drop." This track is the first track from them we've heard from them since they introduced the world to "Night Riders," a track from their forthcoming LP alongside Pusha T, Travi$ Scott, 2 Chainz and Mad Cobra. However, this new track, titled "Bass Drop," will not be featured on Peace Is The Mission, which is set for release on June 1 via Mad Decent.

"Bass Drop" comes shortly after the premiere of the Major Lazer cartoon on FXX, which first aired on April 16. The animated video for this new track, directed by Andrew Chittenden, takes on a similar look as the show with its trippy, colorful visuals. In the show, Samberg voices the character Dr. Nerd, who appears in the video as well. The resulting track is a fun concoction of dubstep and moombahton, and hints at the great music that will be coming from the show throughout its airing. Stay tuned for more music to come from the show, as well as Major Lazer's new album Peace Is The Mission to come soon.
