Clifton’s, the chic downtown Los Angeles multi-level bar/restaurant, hosted the first “Lucent Enchantment Society” by The Lucent Dossier Experience this past weekend on Saturday, October 22. The event, which was the kick-off to a residency by the group, will officially begin Halloween weekend on Saturday, October 29 and then move to every other Thursday, beginning November 10.

Those in attendance during Saturday’s spectacle surely never would’ve guessed exactly what they were about to witness. Picture Cirque Du Solei meets Museum of Natural History meets 1950s speakeasy meets sexy rave warehouse all mixed into one, with even costumed performers dressed as guests, so each attendee felt as if they were actually part of the show. Beginning with a lavish powerful aerial-trapeze act, the mood was clearly set for the evening, or rather left guests with the sense of excitement for what would happen next.

From then on, the night portrayed a series of performances moving cohesively from level to level all while making sure to incorporate different items in the room as props, regardless if it was dancing on top of barstools or intertwining between guests all while never breaking character.

The evening was truly special and highly suggested for those looking to do something different from your typical downtown bar crawl!
