Chicago’s Lollapalooza turns 25 this year and the 4-day celebration promises to go off harder and better than any of its previous extravaganzas. The mega-event offers a variety of musical genres for the casual audiophile, from rap to indie rock to the ravers’ fave: electronic music. As dance music continues to seep further into the mainstream, we find our favorite DJs and electronic performers not only on their dedicated Perry’s stage at the Grant Park gathering. We also find acts crossing over to other stages; set times sandwiched between alternative rock or underground hip-hop acts.
