Rotterdam's 41-year-old trance legend Ferry Corsten enters 2015 with a career pivoting EP trilogy.  The New World Punx member released the first of three forthcoming EPs, Hello World Part One.  The cumulative release marks his fifth release under the name "Ferry Corsten" and is the first major release since WKND, which came to us in 2012 via Ultra Records.

Ferry introduces the listeners to Hello World Part One with the radio-friendly "Hyper Love," featuring vocals from Austalian Scotch & Soda-sponsored singer-songwriter Nat Dunn.  The tune has been reaping airplay from 2014 into 2015 and features the tried and true 8th-note piano pulse, which carries us into a break-beat filled chorus that builds into a climactic drop spotlighting a restless, fidgety synth reminiscent of early Afrojack.  The second single features goals by Harris, who's known for his gritty rock-edged motor-oil-greased vocals.  However, in Ferry's "Back to Paradise" we see a more reflective, sentimental side to Haris' more commonly aggressive vocals to match the progressive tune.  Corsten's second single takes us to a land of flower tiaras and rave tears with it's uplifting peak-time arpeggios.  Can you feel the confetti raining?  So can we.

The third standout track from the EP would be "Make it Ours" featuring vocals from Chris Jones, known for his recent feature on Hardwell's melodic tune "Young Again."  The EP comes to us via Corsten's imprint Flashover Recordings, and you can expect to hear Hello World Part One's 7 tracks can be heard all over Ferry radio show "Corsten Countdown" Wednesdays on SiriusXM. You can download the Hello World Part One EP on Beatport.
