Often seen wearing vintage clothing and a chic black hat that covers her lush brunette hair, 24-year-old Louisa Rose Allen is as delightful on the eyes as she is on the ears.

Better know as Foxes, the singer’s dynamic pipes have made waves on dance music tracks over the past few years. Foxes was featured on the eponymous cover track of Zedd’s debut album, Clarity, which topped the charts and became certified platinum in both the U.S. and Canada. The song’s success launched Allen’s career to new heights within the music industry, and she has since become one of the most sought-after vocalists.

Although Foxes is known for her features with top EDM producers, it is important to acknowledge her work as an independent artist. This year has truly been a breakthrough for the singer. In October Allen released her debut album, Youth, which saw immediate success, reaching No. 1 on the iTunes top album chart in the U.K. She describes her experimental pop album as “true to herself” and created solely based on her own artistic vision.

Allen’s vocals can be heard anywhere, from the radio to clubs and festivals, and she certainly has us wanting more.
