#elektroAwards Best Emerging Artist: Disclosure

When the boys of Disclosure made their debut a little over a year ago, it became apparent that we had something much more impressive on our hands than your typical DJ duo. Crafting a unique sound in their home of Surrey, England, brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence seamlessly combined deep house music with U.K. garage, all the while remaining true to dance-pop music.
What is so striking about their sound is their ability to cross genres effortlessly, recruiting fans from all musical orientations. Their groundbreaking hit “White Noise,” featuring AlunaGeorge, was one of the most recognizable tracks of early 2013 and heightened the anticipation of their full-length LP, Settle. The LP exceeded the expectations of even the most dedicated Disclosure fans. Featuring talented vocalists like Eliza Doolittle and Sam Smith, Settle debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. and No. 2 on U.S. dance charts.

Disclosure has become one of the most in-demand electronic duos on the planet, selling out shows around the world months in advance. Going from virtually unknown a year ago to becoming the most identifiable duo, Disclosure has only just begun to sweep the globe with their talent.
