DJ Q and AC Slater “Oh Yeah”

West Virginia native AC Slater is doing it right with the latest release on his Party Like Us imprint. The producer teamed up with UKG legend DJ Q for a crazy and funky collaboration for the darkest of rooms. The former UKG M1X and recent Essential Garage Show radio host included the track in his latest EP, “Sound Boy Connection” alongside the Robbie Rue-featuring title track, “Heaven," and “Wreck It." The EP as a whole is a throwback, with a combination of 90s sounds, acid house breakdowns, and unadulterated groove. DJ Q’s collab with AC Slater is a standout, as the ongoing loop of what sounds like a bird call of sorts lets you know things are getting real on the dance floor. “Oh Yeah” is definitely a track you want to check out, alongside the rest of DJ Q’s “Sound Boy Connection” EP.
