The Dirtybird crew spun an all night set at The Mezzanine in SF this last week. J Phlip opened up to be followed by Christian Martin and Justin Martin. Its hard not to love these guys energy (and if you run into them backstage they tell some pretty great stories off the record). My favorite track I heard was Eats Everything’s remix of Breach’s “Jack” (both Dirtybird artists). I’ve been hearing that track everywhere this summer, from a CVS set in Brooklyn, to Dirtybird Renegades at Lightning in a Bottle to Hard Summer in LA. The original never fails to move the crowd, but Eats Everything’s remix was a great twist.
