After hip-hop radio station Hot 97 personality Miss Info reported that she heard an unreleased version of the Jack U single, "Take U There," that contains two verses from Missy Elliott, Diplo treated his Snapchat followers to a sneak preview of the track, showing that Missy is working with Skrillex and Diplo was no rumor. You can listen to the three samples of the track featuring Missy Elliot in the videos below.

This is just one piece of the massive amount of new music that Diplo has coming our way. While at the GRAMMYs, he revealed that the Jack U album will be out this month, while a Major Lazer release that features a variety of pop stars, including Ariana GrandeEllie GouldingTravis ScottPusha-T and Gwen Stefani will be arriving in April.

Between her feature on this collaborative remix of the Jack U single and Super Bowl halftime show, it is clear; Missy Elliott is back and in a big way. Her special guest appearance during Katy Perry‘s performance not only introduced her to a large group of young (and clueless) music fans, but also put her catalog of music on track for a 1,000% sales gain.

Billboard reported that the songs performed by Missy during the Half Time Show performance (which were her hit singles “Get Ur Freak On,” “Lose Control” and “Work It”) “are each aiming to sell around 15,000 to 20,000 downloads for the week. In the previous week, each sold around 1,000 downloads.” All three tracks landed in the Top 10 of the iTunes Singles Chart on the day following the Super Bowl.
