deadmau5 “Suckfest” / “Are You There?” Previews

Apparently all the news we’ve seen about Deadmau5 is in regards to his breakup with fiancé Kat Von D. We’d like to take some time to talk about his recent tracks “SuckFest9001” and “You There.” They’re a hell of a lot more interesting, from Suckfest’s subtle intensity and pulsating builds to “You There?”’s robotic edginess and techno-influenced minimalism. Where “SuckFest9001” is trancey and melodic, “You There?” is dark and brooding. The combination of the two makes for quite a well-balanced pair.
