Daft Punk Sponsors UK Formula 1 Team Lotus

The famous French Duo have been tweeting cryptic YouTube videos of blurred checkered flags, flickering images of a racecar, and, if you look closely, the name “Lotus” on a dashboard. What does this all mean? Columbia, Daft Punk's record label, is partners with the UK Formula 1 racecar team Lotus. One of the cars will be adorned with Daft Punk imagery and bear the Daft Punk colors. Driver Romain Grosjean will be at the wheel – and competing in this weekend’s Monaco grand prix.
