Cross-Switch: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis “Thrift Shop” Ari Leff Remix

While this 18 year old NYC based DJ’s itinerary is mostly dubby remixes of top 40 songs, his previous remix before “Thrift Shop”, a smooth trap mash up called “Moves Like Starships”, might as well have made Maroon 5 cool again. This most recent remix of Seattle born rapper Macklemore’s Top 10 hit displays a tastefully spacey use of laser noises that makes it clear Ari Leff is here to swag. Still incorporating the jazzy sounds of the original, Leff’s remix does just enough to keep things classy.
