Even if you're unfamiliar with his music, chances are you've seen the DJ wearing a golden beak. The mysterious artist's name is Claptone, and he's become famous for his infectious brand of deep house. Now, he's returned with "Dear Life," the first single to from his debut album coming this Fall via Different Recordings, the newly resurgent electronic imprint of [PIAS].

This track follows his acclaimed BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, a Beatport chart-topping smash remix of Gregory Porter and an incredible live show at the Miami Ultra Music Festival. Teaming up with French vocalist Jaw (who is part of the production trio dOP), "Dear Life" is a pure house masterpiece, complete with deep rolling basslines and classic piano progressions that mesh beautifully with the heartfelt vocal portions, while showcasing Claptone's brilliant production skills.

This taste of the forthcoming album comes shortly after he shared, "The Music Got Me," which went on to reach the top five on Beatport’s deep house chart, as did the B-side "Forest of Love." As we await the arrival of Claptone's debut album, you can expect to hear more mind-blowing tracks like this one as we approach the official release date. "Dear Life" will be available for purchase on May 22.
