Swedish DJ/production duo, Cazzette, have finally released their debut album, which is available exclusively on Spotify. This release, titled "Eject Pt. 1," is the first of three parts to be released. Part 1 of this series exhibits the duo's signature electro sound that blends house and dubstep elements, creating a style that has yet to be replicated. The release's opening track is an intro of epic proportions. "On The Road (Master Intro)" presents a key progression that rises and falls in tempo, preparing the album's listeners for the electronic adventure Cazzette is about to take them on. What follows is the album's first, and most relevant track, "Beam Me Up (Kill Mode)," a production that has been receiving support from some of the biggest names in EDM. Its powerful sound supplied by its hard-charging kicks, soulful vocals, and dub bass drops are built for the sound systems of the world's biggest clubs and festivals, and also introduces the original, innovative sound of Cazzette. The energy remains at a high level with the following track "Run For Cover." This track marks the first of instrumental tracks, which make up the duration of the album. What sounds like an easy-going electro track at first, quickly transforms into a heavy electro-house track that is reminiscent of Knife Party's "Rage Valley," with its chugging, electronic breakdowns. "Hit Da Face" takes a pure electro approach, bringing an almost Daft Punk-like sound with its rolling synth lines and electronic effects, while supplying a dancey beat. The following track, "Cream," is an electro-house production containing housey melodic synth, showing off the duo's capability of uplifting sounds. The album's final track is "The Rat," which reverts the album back to their unique electronic style, supplying electro key and string progressions, until dropping moombahton beats that both speed up and slow down in tempo throughout the track, with the track's rapid fire synth. "Eject Pt. 1" brilliantly shows off Cazzette's production skills and unmatched style. This album is one that will most likely allow for a tremendous gain in the duo's following, as well as set the stage for what to expect for the upcoming releases of the 2nd and 3rd parts of "Eject." This release certainly has us excited for what is to come for a group that is set for big things in the EDM world.
