We were lucky enough to have a few moments to chat with Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo of the Bloody Beetroots following the official release of his latest project 'SBCR & Friends Vol. 1.' The collection features the gritty "The Grid" and Razihel collaboration "Wrong," and is available now on iTunes via Dim Mak Records.

On SBCR Vol. 1...
"It's amazing and beautiful with crazy music. I got to do it with some of my friends. It's just a starting point for now. We're going to release Volume 2 in June and Volume 3 in the fall. This is brand new music, and marks a new chapter in my life as SBCR. It's more club oriented rather than an aim at crossover appeal. 2015 is going to be a good year!

Bloody Beetroots VS. SBCR...
At the moment I'm not doing anything crossover. However I always change my mind. SBCR is a way to stay more connected to both my new and old fans since it's more club oriented. I had gotten so busy with The Bloody Beetroots that it became hard to interact with fans. I'm looking forward to hitting clubs and small venues with SBCR as a means of reconnecting with fans.

Music SBCR fans should be excited for...
The Spider, which will be released in June via Dim Mak, will show everyone what we're capable of.

SBCR's Baby Making Anthem (the track he'd make SBCR Jr. to)....

Essential Plugin...
Sylenth 1

Artists he enjoys to watch perform...
I'm excited to see Steve Aoki back on the decks. It's been a while since we've played together so I'm looking forward to seeing what he does now.
