Cashmere Cat is no stranger to collaborations with pop and hip-hop stars. In 2014, the Norwegian DJ-producer kicked off the year by producing the single “Party Girls” for LudacrisWiz Khalifa and Jeremih. He also produced Ariana Grande‘s track “Be My Baby” featured on her album My Everything (2014), which sold 600K copies in its first week released and would peak at No.2 on the Billboard Hot 100. He recently teamed up with DJ Mustard on the new track “Ice Rink.” This unexpected collaboration is a perfect union of Mustard’s famed hip-hop sounds and Cashmere Cat’s futuristic electronic style, and is the first of several collaborations that will be coming our way from the two producers.

Now, he's back with his latest collaboration, and as expected, it is alongside another artist from outside of the dance/electronic realm. Tinashe is now the most recent artist to receive the Cashmere touch. This time, however, he has brought us something less futuristic sounding, supplying a beat that is purely hip-hop. The track does contain the kind of clean production he has become known for.

This collaboration exemplifies Cashmere Cat's ability to produce across a variety of genres. This is just another step as he makes his way through the ranks of music producers, establishing himself as one of the most sought after artists in the game.
