Cashmere Cat is a young Norwegian with enough musical game to get signed to Ed Banger. His titillating remaster of 2Chainz “No Lie” turned it from club banger to spooky low tempo jam that earned huge ups from Diplo. The talent of this kid is obvious. His sound is so ground breaking and genuinely unique every track he touches is distinctively his own. Now his mentor and label head, Busy P, has taken on his track “Kiss Kiss” to throw his authentically French sound on it. He’s mixed some old school synth, new school electro glitches, and twangs hiccupping at the perfect moments throughout the track. The fusion of Cashmere Cat and Busy P brings an 80’s meets 90’s electro vibe to the record, but ultimately screams French electro house in the best way.
