From January 4 - 13, 2013, the BPM Festival returns to Playa del Carmen, Mexico for its sixth year. After the success of last year's event, over 35,000 attendees enjoy more than 200 artists and 50 events over 10 days, the party returns to one of the most alluring party hotspots in the world. Unlike other festivals, The BPM Festival is a 10-day celebration of music from some of the world's best DJs, while offering all of the stunning attractions and adventures of the Mayan Riviera. One can enjoy dance beats both day and night at multiple venues, or discover the sparkling turquoise Caribbean waters, white sand beaches, mysterious jungles and ancient ruins. As global clubbing scribe DJ Mag describes it, “The festival affords plenty of space, time and opportunity to meet people on a level as they recline in the blissful setting of a white sandy beach surrounded by lush, tropical plantations, allowing easier integration into the influx of what’s essentially an A-to-Z of who’s who in house music today.” Now, the festival has released Phase 1 of its lineup, and it does not disappoint. Check out Phase 1 of the lineup below:
