Billboards 21 Under 21: Music’s Hottest Minors 2012

Billboard.com recently posted their “21 Under 21: Music’s Hottest Minors 2012”, the list showcased 21 of the most popular young artists ranked from 21 to 1. Not surprising to us, two of the honorable mentions are dance music heavy weights Madeon and Porter Robinson. Madeon makes his debut as number 19 with his Pop Culture live mash up Youtube video, which has received over 13 million views. The sleek DJ/producer is only 18 years old and with his array of talents is certain to move up the list. Porter jumps up on the list from 18 to number 7! Billboard explains that Robinson has become a “headlining star in his own right” and his Poseidon tour with Zedd is projected to be “the most Tweeted-about EDM tour in history”. The two producers are included with the likes of Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, representing EDM among America’s most popular Musicians. Other under 21 to watch include Danny Avila.
