The Custom One Pro is the first in beyerdynamic’s “Custom Series,” which seeks to produce a truly flexibly pair of headphones, both from an aesthetic and audio perspective. beyerdynamic isn’t new to the aesthetic component, although it does do things a bit differently by allowing the changing of the earpad, headband, and faceplates via style kits (sold separately of course). Where the Custom One Pro really differentiates itself is the ability to adapt to the user’s audio. A sound slider changes the sound characteristics of the headphones (essentially taking it from closed to open end at times). So if the user is listening to a bass heavy track, the sound slider can be adjusted to manipulate the frequency. A noise isolation feature takes care of outside noise pollution.
