As we anxiously await the release of his new album, deadmau5 has given us a first look behind the scenes of his new music video for his track with My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way, "Professional Griefers". As stated in the video, this is the highest budget electronic dance music video ever made. Joel himself says, " You know I don't do music videos, right? So if you're going to do one video, you've got to do it right".

As we explained in a previous post in response to the video's teaser released by deadmau5, the video contains a battle between two robot deadmic3. Now, in this behind the scenes look at the video, we see that these robots are being controlled by Joel and Gerard Way from their futuristic control stations inside a UFC cage in front of 2,000 fans. These fans, some armed with their own makeshift mau5heads, are all responders to Joel's message via social media, to which he received over 11,000 responses in the first day. With a crowd of screaming, dancing fans to accompany the battle of deadmic3, it seems that this high budget music video is going to be even more epic than we originally thought. The video premieres August 29th.
