With the two previous volumes reaching #1 in the iTunes Dance Album Charts, expectations couldn’t be higher as Anjuna A&R man, James Grant and progressive house luminary, Jaytech return to deliver the latest installment in the Anjunadeep series, Anjunadeep 04. Grant opts for a deeper, housier approach to the trademark melodic Anjuna sound while Jaytech holds nothing back and delivers a top-class lesson in modern progressive.

Grant collaborated with veteran Anjuna producer Andrew Bayer on three standout remixes for CD1, including a blissful re-rub of Full Tilt’s “Take Me Away.” Grant describes how Bayer’s contributions were essential in helping to shape the identity of the mix: “We had a clear vision for where we wanted the mix to head and Andrew really helped me realize that.” Bayer also contributes the euphoric sun-kissed “You” track to Grant’s mix which may well be the high point of the entire session.

In between putting the finishing touches on the follow up to his 2008 artist album, Everything is OK, Jaytech delivers an absolute belter of a mix. Highlights include the stomping, dazzling “Neon Feel” by Suspect 44, Jaytech’s gliding “Synergy,” and Soundprank’s “Boundless Energy” with its plonky, Deadmau5-sized keys.

Anjunadeep 04 is released on February 27th. In the meantime, check out the below mini-mixes:
