12th Planet ‘SMOG City’ Documentary Trailer

In an interview with Gotta Dance Dirty, film visionary Mollie Tarlow said she “wanted to tell a story about someone with a dream” placed amid a setting of electronic music. The result was a documentary aimed at capturing the life and experiences of dubstep king, 12th Planet’s John Dadzie, as a performer and electronic producer. Created by Tarlow and co-director Adam Leao, the film examines Dadzie’s as a DJ onstage, an artist in the studio, and a major player in the music industry. Also highlighted are the label, Smog City, and dubstep as a genre. Premiering on MTV, this is an insightful and inspiring story of perseverance, passion, and music all rolled into one.
